Yuriy Malyugin is an international designer specializing in user experience design. Originally from Russia, Yuriy studied at the British Higher School of Art and Design in Moscow, a franchise of the University of Hertfordshire, London. He began his career at the independent creative branding agency 2Sharp and later led the design department at Afisha.ru, a prominent Russian media outlet focused on contemporary culture.

During his tenure at Afisha.ru, Yuriy played a key role in redefining the platform’s digital experience, leading large-scale redesigns and shaping its user-centric approach. His expertise in designing complex digital systems led him to work with Sber Automotive, where he contributed to the development of next-generation in-car interfaces, enhancing the driving experience through intuitive UI/UX solutions.

Later, Yuriy joined Career.io, an innovative HR-tech platform, where he helped build tools that streamline job searching and career growth, leveraging AI-driven solutions and data-driven design.
