Redesigned ATM Operating System

TBC Bank is one of Georgia’s leading financial institutions.

Objective: Redesign the ATM interface to enhance user experience, reduce transaction steps, eliminate common issues like forgotten cards, and introduce seamless contactless interactions.

Solution: User research identified key pain points, leading to the following improvements:
• Audio and visual alerts to prevent users from leaving behind cards or cash.
• QR code cash withdrawal for a fully contactless experience.
• Fewer steps per transaction, reducing screen interactions and processing time.

Result:

• 25% fewer steps per transaction, improving speed and efficiency.
• Fewer forgotten cards and cash incidents, thanks to proactive alerts.
• Improved ATM availability, minimizing frustration when machines are down.
